LOVE YOUR SCARS

is a movement for all who bear scars — the seen and unseen.

Contact us to learn more about upcoming events, classes and workshops.

Our scars tell a story.

When we give flesh to feelings and share our story, we begin to heal collectively to discover redemption in connection & community.

Big or small, inside or out, we all have scars, emotional trigger points, broken bones, and broken hearts. A space for healing exists when we share the story of our scars.

LOVE YOUR SCARS

MISSION

To empower any body access to yoga through a variety of community resources that restore a healthy, active lifestyle and identity even after injury or in recovery.

VISION

Share your story, discover your strength.

The Love Your Scars Movement encourages anyone, anywhere, to share their story, struggle, comeback, strength, and resilience between what hurts and what heals.

WHY

Telling the story of our scars connects and heals.

This space for healing exists when we share the story of our scars. Here, we discover resilience and give flesh to feelings. From holding on to letting go, from exile to belonging.

LYSM COMMUNITY

Inspired originally from the Love Your Belly Movement created by Hailley and Gina-Marie in Houston, Texas, #loveyourscarsmovement (LYSM) is on a mission to inspire anyone with scar(s) that tells a story. The seen and unseen.

This is a call to action to share your story. To heal collectively. To discover redemption in connection and community. Discover the beauty, the strength, the resilience between what hurts and what heals when we love our scars.

Join us for the Launch Event on Friday, Jan. 12 at Out Here Yoga and follow us on Instagram @loveyourscarsmovement to become part of this inspiring community.
